Divine Wellbeing Massage Therapy

Effective date: 24 August 2023

These Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases of products and bookings for services provided by Divine Wellbeing Massage Therapy ("Divine Wellbeing", "we", "us", "our") through our website www.divinewellbeing.co.nz or directly through our clinic.

By purchasing products, booking services, or using our website, you agree to the following terms.

Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions govern the supply of goods and services by Divine Wellbeing to you as the purchaser.

We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time. Updates will be published on our website and will apply from the date they are posted.

Purchases made through our website are intended for personal use only and may not be purchased for resale.

If you are purchasing on behalf of another person or organisation, you confirm that you have the authority to accept these Terms and Conditions on their behalf.

Massage Appointments & Deposits

Deposits are non-refundable.

If you need to change your appointment, you are welcome to reschedule up to 48 hours before your booking, and your deposit will be transferred to your new appointment time.

Changes or cancellations made within 48 hours of your appointment will result in the deposit being forfeited.

If you are unable to attend your appointment, please notify us as early as possible so we can offer the time to another client.

Late Arrivals

We understand that delays can occasionally happen. If you arrive late for your appointment, your treatment time may need to be shortened so that the following appointments are not affected.

The full treatment fee will still apply, even if the session length is reduced due to late arrival.

If you believe you will be late, please contact us as soon as possible.

Missed Appointments (No-Shows)

If you do not attend your appointment and no notice has been given, the booking will be treated as a missed appointment.

Deposits for missed appointments are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another booking.

Repeated missed appointments may require full prepayment for future bookings.

Respectful Conduct & Therapist Safety

Divine Wellbeing is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and professional environment for both clients and therapists.

Any inappropriate behaviour, harassment, or conduct of a sexual nature will not be tolerated. If such behaviour occurs, the treatment will be immediately terminated, and the full treatment fee will still apply.

Divine Wellbeing reserves the right to refuse or discontinue treatment where a therapist feels uncomfortable or unsafe.

Treatment Expectations

Massage therapy is intended to support relaxation, wellbeing, and muscle recovery. However, results may vary between individuals and specific outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

Massage therapy should not be considered a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Clients are responsible for informing their therapist of any relevant health conditions, injuries, pregnancy, medications, or recent surgeries prior to treatment.

Divine Wellbeing reserves the right to modify or decline treatment where it may not be suitable for a client's health or wellbeing.

Product Availability

All product orders are subject to availability.

If a product becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, we will contact you as soon as possible to arrange a replacement, store credit, or refund.

Pricing

All prices listed on our website are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST, unless otherwise stated.

Prices are correct at the time of publication but may change at any time without notice.

Delivery charges (where applicable) will be shown during checkout before payment is confirmed.

Payments are processed securely through Stripe, which manages all online payment processing.

Shipping & Delivery

We currently deliver to New Zealand street addresses only.

Orders are generally dispatched within 1–2 business days, with delivery typically taking 1–5 business days depending on your location.

Rural deliveries may take an additional 1–2 days.

Orders placed after 1:30pm may be dispatched the following business day.

If you require urgent delivery, please contact us to discuss courier options. Additional charges may apply.

Returns & Refunds

If you are not satisfied with a product purchase, please contact us within 30 days of receiving your order.

Where appropriate we may offer:

  • a replacement
  • store credit
  • or a refund
Products must be returned unused and in their original condition unless they are faulty.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

Privacy & Confidentiality

Divine Wellbeing respects the privacy and confidentiality of all clients.

Personal information collected during bookings, consultations, or purchases may be used for:

  • managing appointments
  • processing payments
  • delivering products
  • communicating important service information
For massage therapy clients, personal health information shared during consultations is treated as confidential and will only be used to provide safe and appropriate treatment.

We will not share personal information with third parties unless:

  • required by law
  • necessary to process payments
  • necessary to deliver products or services
You may request access to or correction of your personal information at any time.

Email Communications

If you choose to subscribe to updates from Divine Wellbeing, we may occasionally send emails about wellness services, updates, or promotions.

You can unsubscribe at any time by following the link provided in the email or by contacting us directly.

Transactional emails relating to bookings or purchases will still be sent where necessary.

Website Use & Cookies

Our website may use cookies to improve functionality and user experience.

Cookies help enable certain features of the website. If cookies are disabled in your browser, some parts of the website may not function correctly.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by New Zealand law, Divine Wellbeing will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our products, services, or website.

Where goods or services are acquired for business purposes, the provisions of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 may not apply.

Our maximum liability in relation to any claim is limited to the value of the product or service purchased.
